What’s the benefit of using Forex tester 4 over back testing in Tradeview?
Hello, I am new to Forex, and I am using a demo account. I’m using TradingView for my charting platform. I am interested in back testing but I’m curious if a tool like Forex tester 4 is better for back testing over manually back testing in TradingView?
alternatives to soft4x/forex tester on mt4 | backtesting but mt4 is so annoying to chart on
I'm have soft4x to test my swing strategy which relies on ema/trendlines/rsi to make manual trades since I have to chart them pretty often. I could see people using soft4x to chart simple S/R or PA patterns but I cant understand how people backtest on MT4 but for longer term I have find it highly uncomfortable. Just suck it up or alternatives? Soft4x does a great job of stats, something TV can't do but it is definitely simpler. Thoughts?
